And They’re Off…Spring Training Gets Underway at Saratoga’s Historic Oklahoma Training Track Share

WHAT: A sure sign of spring as the thoroughbreds return to Saratoga for the upcoming summer meet.

WHEN: Friday, April 16
5:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

WHERE: Oklahoma Training Track
Union Avenue
Saratoga Springs, NY

DETAILS: Saratoga’s famed Oklahoma track will open for spring training as the thoroughbreds make their way back to the Spa City in a prelude to the 142nd season at Saratoga Race Course.

The 2010 season at Saratoga Race Course begins on Friday, July 23 and will consist of 40 racing days before concluding on Labor Day, Monday, September 6.

The 141st running of the Grade 1, $1 million Travers Stakes will take place on Saturday, August 28, 2010.
